Seth Kniep Review Amazon Coaching (Just One Dime) is it a scam?

Have you ever wondered about the reports of people making a fantastic passive income via Amazon? Ever fancied getting involved?

Look:

Seth Kniep has created a company called Just One Dime which he named after the situation he was in when he began.

His course, known as 1 x 1 Amazon Coaching uses the Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) business model to help you build an e-commerce site with the ultimate aim of providing you with a good passive income.

This program is offered at different levels and price ranges but all feature an impressive curriculum which will provide you with plenty to study. If you ask me – is it legit? I would answer, no it is not! Seth Kniep has generally favorable reviews online, but we dug deep and found some negative reviews.
It seems that JOD is very good at silencing criticism.

On reddit you will see REAL students speaking out.

Review of the Pros and Cons of Just One Dime

In order to get a better understanding of 1 x 1 Amazon Coaching, I want to run through some of the pros and cons.

Pro’s

First up, the pros. These include:

  • Seth Kniep has an impressive YouTube channel which features lots of free content. This is particularly useful if you are still trying to make up your mind about whether this is the course for you as it gives you an idea of what the program is like and how Seth is as an instructor. I thought the free content was impressive enough for me to sign up for the full course. The YouTube Channel is increasing in popularity and now has approximately 157,000 subscribers.

Many seeking amazon sellers think private label is the only option on Amazon FBA. Listen to Beau Crabill explain the different business models for reselling:

Just One Dime is an A to Z of how to build and grow an Amazon FBA business. Seth Kniep has a wealth of experience in this industry and pledges to teach you everything you need to know including the latest insider tips. I liked the thoroughness of the curriculum and found the content to be clearly explained and informative. Seth himself is a good speaker and I enjoyed watching his video content.

  • One of the major strong points is that there are over 4 hours of live coaching each week. This includes classes from Seth Kniep, other experts and some of the students who have built their business up to make a great profit using this system. This means you will always have the opportunity to ask the questions that come up while you work your way through the process and get to talk to industry experts about how to solve issues and stay motivated. I also really appreciated the fact that this content does not just solely focus on the USA market like many other courses. It is a big world out there with opportunities everywhere!
  • There are 72 hours of legal training from a lawyer included. This is very useful as it is a subject which is mostly overlooked in Amazon FBA courses. You are open to getting sued if you inadvertently infringe on a copyrighted product. This can easily happen if you are purchasing a product with a brand logo (for example a t-shirt with a popular cartoon character on it) from overseas and selling it in the US. It is a good idea to be properly informed legally.

As with every course which has impressive positive points, there are always a few negatives. Let’s look at the cons. These include:

Con’s

  • There is some “upselling” pressure to encourage you to buy the next course. This is pretty standard for scammy courses. In my opinion it seems Seth Kniep is in coaching business & his goal is to get the most amount of money out of each person..
  • The fees may be a lot of money for some people. I will not say expensive as I believe there is sufficient training supplied to justify the cost, but it is a lot of cash to find. If this is an issue for you, there are different pricing levels offered for different levels of the course and there is a monthly payment option. I recommend you also keep an eye out for promos and discounts which are offered from time to time.
  • The program includes at least 30 to 50 fake Amazon reviews for your site’s products. Positive reviews are like gold dust for e-commerce sites who use Amazon. It could make the difference between waiting months to get ranked and it happening quickly. However, it seems to be Just One Dime sources out fake and/or incentived reviews.. That would be like some guru trying to pay us off for a good review (which if you are a guru, we will take donations to give back to victims, but we will never be paid off)
  • They do say the course supplies all of the training and resources for a one-year program to get your business up and running, but I believe their estimate of a two hours per day commitment is a real understatement compared to the reality of setting up this business. There is a lot to study, and after that, the really hard work begins! Setting up the business, selecting the right products, advertising, organizing suppliers, shipping and dealing with clients are all time-consuming. I don’t believe this is a business that can be set up to be successful without a lot of time and effort.
  • Most of their “positive reviews” are from their affiliates who are getting paid if you buy through their link. There is nothing wrong with a course or coaching program having affiliates. However, it seems very intentional that Just One Dime has their affiliates swarm to combat any negative press..
  • They seem to have a not favorable refund policy. Which is very risky for any person investing lots of money to start their Amazon FBA business. Why do they not give refunds if they are so confident in what they can provide?

I can’t emphasize this enough…

This is not a “get rich quick” business. You should be prepared to put in a lot of work and there are no shortcuts!

Selling on Amazon can be a REAL business. If you are looking to start an amazon Business or need help scaling your Amazon business, we suggest checking out beaucrabill.com, as Beau has proven time after time to have the highest quality Amazon training…

Please keep reading into my conclusion as I am ready to deliver my final verdict on the true value of Seth Kniep’s Just One Dime.

In Conclusion

There is a lot of high pressure sales & deceptive marketing involved with Seth’s brand. When we first posted about Seth he had a 1 x 1 Amazon Coaching program. He has removed that and now selling an Amazon FBA Mastery Course.

They also include 30 to 50 false Amazon reviews which is directly against the Terms of Service on Amazon. This, in itself, makes the program a bit of a scam. It makes us question the legitimacy of Seth’s actual Amazon store.

It seems to be the course is a huge setup for their once a year event. Where they sell a high ticket mastermind that will just fill Seth’s pockets even more..

Just One Dime also underplay just how much hard work would be necessary to make your business successful.

Bottom line?

This is a cash cow for Seth, non-organized, program which will teach you pretty much the same information you will find for free on youtube. Seth has okay video content on mindset, which seems to be just to brainwash his viewers. Seth Kniep is an a questionable instructor with vague knowledge of the industry

Here’s the deal…

I do NOT recommend Seth Kniep’s 1 x 1 Amazon Coaching as it is extremely over-priced and too much high pressure sales tactics used to get a sale. There are many negative reviews that has been pushed away from the public trying to see the REAL truth about JOD.

  1. Hey Randi,
This is Seth Kniep. I read your review of our FBA Mastery membership (it’s not a course, by the way, but a full membership that includes 5 courses). In all respect, Randi, it became quickly obvious that you never actually took our membership as your review is untruthful and makes false claims. I’m sincerely trying to figure out if you are an affiliate for someone who is paying you to do this.

I want to put your “fight internet harassment on social media” to the test. Randi, I would be happy to give you full access for FREE so you can see for yourself and give an honest and informed review of our training. I hope you will show the integrity and courage to do this. It looks like you based your review on a handful of critical reviews online from 3+ years ago instead of finding out for yourself.

First, you mentioned “high pressure sales tactics.” This is so silly and unfair. We don’t even have an option to up-sell anyone other than a landing page where someone can get additional 1×1 training at a discount. There is nothing “high pressure” about it–it’s simply an offer.

You wrote, “This is a cash cow for Seth.” This is an outrageous claim with zero evidence. Simply put, it’s not. I make a lot of money because I sell on Amazon. If you want total transparency that most business owners would never tell you, in 2009 we invested so much into our staff at our headquarters in Austin to bring more and more content for our members that we lost $100,000 that year.

You said it’s a “non-organized, program which will teach you pretty much the same information you will find for free on youtube.” This is simply not true. Again, how could you know this since you never took our membership? Our content is broken down into five main sections: start, find, build, launch and grow. Each of those sections has sub-sections with action steps, slideshows, captions, and quizzes for every training video. And the content we provide in the courses is at least 10x what we provide for free on YouTube and far far more in depth.

You wrote, “Seth Kniep is an a questionable instructor with vague knowledge of the industry.” If you watched even 1/100th of my live content you know my knowledge of the industry is not vague but extremely in-depth which is why I gave out free iPads to anyone who could stump me during 1 hour live Q&A’s on the topic of Amazon FBA.

I was able to leave the richest company on the planet because of my Amazon sales, not because I coach people. I and my team are one of the very few who actually sell on Amazon and that’s simply a fact easy to find with a little investigation. Every single coach is required to show me their Amazon sales and profit and loss statements several times a year. I fired a coach who refused to show me their sales. To say I have vague knowledge of this industry is so ridiculous and unfair I don’t know where to begin.

To date, we manage over 100 million in annual Amazon revenue, Amazon (who can see my stores) flew me to their headquarters to consult on improving their online platform, a business partner of Kevin Harrington from the Shark Tank TV show asked us to build his Amazon business for him, BMW asked us to build their Amazon store for them…I could go on and on.

Randi, your site claims you are all about being honest and giving honest reviews. That’s why I am offering you my five Amazon FBA courses for FREE so you can see for yourself instead of basing your assessments off a few disgruntled people on Reddit.

Will you have the courage and honesty to take me up on this request?
